Who We Are:

Remember Jericho - The Musical

A Church Ministry Musical

“Remember Jericho - The Musical” is a church ministry musical designed to be a source of spiritual nurturing, character building, as well as high quality, Christian entertainment, with a dramatic story and message intended to touch congregations’ hearts and encourage them to remember God’s faithfulness in the face of uncertainty and suffering. We look to partner with churches to bring this powerful musical to church ministry.

“Remember Jericho” is a two-act, one and a half hour long, original Biblical-fiction musical based on the historical events and characters in Joshua 10. After their success at Jericho and the later defeat at Ai, the Israelites, after allying with Gibeon, battle against five Canaanite armies. Though outnumbered, the Lord miraculously holds the sun back in the sky so that the Israelites can win the battle. “Remember Jericho” is told through the perspective of a fictional Israelite named Beriah, one of the two spies in Jericho, who doubts Joshua’s decision to engage the Canaanites, as his brother was killed in front of him in the battle of Ai. Beriah blames himself for his brother’s death, but more than that, he blames God, and doubts that God will protect his people - and especially his new fiancée Rahab - if the Israelites fight. The musical primarily explores two believers wrestling with guilt, loss, the challenge of leading an unwilling unbeliever to faith, and most of all, the trial to remember God’s faithfulness in the midst of tragedy.

“Remember Jericho” is made up completely of unpaid volunteer performers who want to touch lives. We choose not to charge admission prices, though we usually ask a nominal donation of $5 per attendee. However, that is voluntary as we believe everyone interested should be welcomed to the show. All donations received go directly and entirely back into the production’s operating costs (equipment, costumes, transportation, etc), to ensure we can continue to provide this ministry to churches across California.

We would love a chance to discuss with you and your church about the possibilities of bringing this show to your church for your congregation. You can hear our Cast Album on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, and all main streaming platforms, and you can subscribe to our mailing list to hear about upcoming shows. Please contact us at rememberjerichomusical@gmail.com or text 714-231-3819.

“Remember Jericho - The Musical” is completely not for profit, and we depend on your support to continue to provide this minsitry to communities! Contact us to collaborate!
